Hoping to become a Hollywood star, “El Chato” leaves San Ignacio, his idyllic hometown in the middle of nowhere. Ten years later, in 1982, a shipment of cocaine is dumped in the village. The Tijuana mafia enlists “El Chato” to retrieve the supply; if he doesn’t, the entire community of San Ignacio will be in danger.
