A man is on his way home to his family when the poorly constructed tunnel he is driving through collapses, leaving him trapped. With draining cell phone battery power and a rescue effort that might end before they locate him, days pass by without success, and the people start to lose hope. (Locarno Festival)

To make a two-hour film about a man trapped in a collapsed tunnel requires some skill or a compelling story to tell. And the Korean filmmakers clearly had a story to tell. The film never bores, essentially not even for a moment, which is due to the excellent performances by the actors, as well as the well-crafted scenes in the tunnel. ()
