A sniper stationed on the border kills refugees trying to cross and lives on what his victims leave behind. Once he finds a victim’s diary tape and starts listening to it, only to discover the other point of view. The film carries a new approach to the refugee question and the horrors of war. The sniper, who does not have the luxury of refusing orders, listens to the recordings of refugees who live day by day. (Cairo International Film Festival)
