English Ildikó Enyedi slightly disappointed me with her new film. After the extremely original picture On Body and Soul, she comes back with a love story, but this time it's a bit more classic. The director's distinctive signature and at times almost magical poetry cannot be denied in this romantic drama The Story of My Wife, but the viewer's attention wanes due to the unnecessarily drawn-out plot. The reason may lie in the book, which I haven't read, so I can't really say in this respect. (65%) ()
