All Movements Should Kill the Wind

Man shapes his environment, which shapes his brain. Two hundred kilometres from Beijing, men live in a stone quarry amidst rocks that are waiting to be hacked, cut and sanded into sculptures. The same gestures come back again and again, to write a history of deterioration and repair. In the making of monuments, history is obliterated. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
