A requiem for a recently deceased lady. Accompanied by Brahms's aria Ihr habt nun Traurigkeit, her now vacant house gets emptied out little by little. While the wallpaper is torn from the walls in slow motion, the grainy Super 8 black-and-white film and the tightly framed shots keep the atmosphere solemn. Nostalgia for the time before Mrs. H's death urges itself upon us. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
