The Amazing Mr. X

Christine Faber (Lynn Bari), a grieving widow of two years, can't escape the memory of her dead husband. Then one night on the beach, Christine believes she hears her husband calling out to her from the ocean's surf. Things turn even more peculiar when she meets a strange mystic named Alexis (Turhan Bey), who seems to know things he can't possibly know. Hoping to speak with her husband, who passed in a car crash, Christine pays Alexis to make the communication happen. Meanwhile, Christine's fiancé Martin (Richard Carlson), who thinks Alexis is a phony, hires a private detective to expose him, but then unexplainable things begin to happen. Has Christine's deceased husband returned from the grave to haunt her, or is it all just an elaborate hoax? (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
