During their summer holidays in the French town of Nîmes, a group of mischievous schoolboys make fun at the expense of two lovers, Gérard and Bernadette. But what starts out as harmless tomfoolery ends in tragedy. The Kids (Les Mistons) was the second short-subject film directed by Francois Truffault. The story takes place in provincial France, where a group of young boys are infatuated with a beautiful young woman. Jealous of her passionate affair, they conspire to make mischief for the woman and her boyfriend. (official distributor synopsis)

English Adult life from a boy's point of view... period! I guess that's how I would sum up the content of this short film, which probably didn't impress me as much as many other users. I just found it too flat and emotionless. ()
