Return to Cabin by the Lake

Deranged writer Stanley Caldwell (Judd Nelson) returns to wreak havoc on a movie set. This time he masquerades as a second unit savior. When the director of the film based on Caldwell's own novel turns up missing, Stanley steps in to finish the job. Consistent with his artistic process, Stanley needs a little reality to inspire him and he soon embarks on a killing spree to help make the film more authentic. (official distributor synopsis)
