In the city of Juarez, Ana Gonzalez works day in and day out picking up fragments of bullets, glass and samples of blood as a forensic investigator. The work is relentless and emotionally exhausting, compounded by cartel violence that comes from being a Mexican city so close to its neighbor, the United States.
