Plots(1)
Defoe, lacking fantasy of his own takes home the drunkard sailor from the pub and lets him tell his stories on the uninhabited island. The story of Robinson is put into life: he was dropped from a ship as a penalty, and he found a beautiful native girl on the island whom he named Péntek (Friday). Soon a sales agent, an utopist socialist and a missionary turned up. They began to fight among each other for the dug treasures of the pirates. Defoe is fed up with all the lies and throws out Robinson. He goes on with the story after his own fantasy. Robinson sleeps in the street and dreams about returning to the island where he is awaited by the faithful Péntek. (official distributor synopsis)
