Limitless (2011)

English I'm debating the whole way out of the cinema whether to give it the full 5 stars or just 4 stars. Since the film had a few weaker moments at the beginning, I'm giving it 4 stars. At times I felt like a blotter that can't take in any more liquid because it's too full. At times it was really crazy and rushed and I couldn't keep up. The "licking" camera was getting to me and it’s a wonder it didn't make me dizzy. The scene where Cooper drinks blood from the ground was really good! Everyone in our row put their hands in front of their eyes. The NZT idea was fully exploited and I'm actually an enthusiastic viewer.

D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994)

English "Ducks fly together!" Quite a nice break from the hockey environment. Predictable plot, nice music and atmosphere. There aren't many hockey movies out there, hence the 3.5 stars for the ducklings!

The Nanny (1993) (series)

English I didn't skip through it or fast-forward. An average sitcom that makes you laugh without even knowing why.

Gossip Girl (2007) (series)

English This show is my cup of tea, my drug, my everything! I love the intrigue, debauchery, and ambition as portrayed by GG :-) Nothing gets me like Blair and Chuck facing off and playing their games. Better and better every episode. This series has deepened my love for moving pictures even more. Favorite characters: Chuck and Blair.

Sneakers (1992)

English I like that this movie remains uncorrupted by today's era. Most of the effects are pretty realistic. Suspenseful plot and good cast. Yeah, this is really watchable.

Flightplan (2005)

English I liked the first half of the movie a lot. Just the kind of psychological puzzle movies I like. But suddenly the villain is revealed to the viewer and a huge and stale bore begins. She tries, blah blah blah... he's hot on her heels... and she eventually escapes him. She's a hero. Except for the ridiculously flubbed ending, a nice show.

Up (2009)

English When you get the meanness of the old grandpa, the cuteness of the little boy, and the charming Kevin into the movie, it's something to watch! Plus, the atmosphere was soooo awesome in the theater, where I was probably the oldest one there. It was only at the beginning of the second half of the movie that the kids started suspiciously excusing themselves to the toilet... there were a few minutes of boredom.

The American (2010)

English America trying to be "European" once again. Since it can lean on the charm of Italy, it didn't turn out too badly. The movie was a bit too melancholy for me though. Clearly this film is more about taste and will be welcomed by a slightly older generation. It gets 3.5 stars.

Long Live Ghosts! (1977)

English I've known all the songs and lines since I was a kid. When Long Live Ghosts! was on TV, I looked forward to it for a week ahead and couldn't fall asleep. Then my sister and I would sit in front of the TV and we thought the commercials during the movie were amazing. That's how much I loved this movie. Oh, and I wanted to be Leontýnka, of course :-)

Just Go with It (2011)

English I consider this an above-standard rom-com, if only because I almost peed myself. After a very long time, I heard huge fits of laughter in the cinema. I take it back that Sandler is getting boring, even though the supporting roles did carry most of the humor here. Surely absolutely everyone had to laugh at the lady with the mismatched eyebrows. Oh my gosh, I've been waiting for this for years!!! Huge surprise. I might even forgive Dugan for this one.
