Biography
Max Linz earned a degree in Film Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3. He also studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). After two experimental medium-length films for which he found inspiration in the famous Kluge's Oberhausen Manifesto, he made his feature debut Asta Upset.
