Biography (1)
Director, screenwriter, and film producer from Spain. She is co-founder of the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media (CIMA). Since 2016 she has been vice president of the Spanish Film Academy. She has worked as a director in El dominio de los sentidos, Nosotras, and 53 días de invierno. In 1996, her short film Escrito en la piel was nominated for the Goya Award.
