Fernando Llanos has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He studied the Bachelor of Fine Arts, but he devoted himself fully to videomaking. His work has been presented in cities on five continents, in places such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Mercosul Biennial, the CCCB in Barcelona and the Rufino Tamayo Museum. It is part of the MUAC (CDMX) collection. He won best documentary at FICM (2014) and a Diosa de Plata (2017). He invented and directed Animasivo. He has twice been a member of the Sistema nacional de creadores.
