Biography
Pete Lee is a Bay Area–based director. Growing up in Taiwan as the son of a Protestant missionary, Lee learned filmmaking via a Jackie Chan instructional video. He ended up San Francisco after college, working as a homeless youth advocate by day and a fight choreographer on the weekends. After his program was defunded, Lee went into commercial production. He is currently developing a feature that combines kung fu with advocacy work.
