Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1959 to a rich businessman, Lindon made his film career debut as a wardrobe assistant in Mon Oncle d'Amerique. After a stay in New York and a journalism experience at the daily "Le Matin," he decided to become an actor. His first role was that of an inspector in the 1983 film Le Faucon.
