Yael Abeccassis began her career appearing in commercials and television and has become one of Israel's leading film actresses, working with international filmmakers including, Amos Gitai (Alila, Kadosh), Olivier Panchot (Sans Moi), Radu Mihaileanu (Live and Become), Véra Belmont (Survivre avec les loups), Salvatore Mereu (Three Step Dance), and Ronit and Shlomi Elkabetz (7 Days).
