The stage, television, and film actress began to act at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy. She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She was a member of the Atlantic Theater Company, and during her association with the group she has appeared in the productions "As You Like It," "Girl's Talk," "Stage Door," and "Portrait of a Woman."
