Biography

Tomas Villum Jensen has performed as an actor in some of the most successful and highly esteemed Danish feature films, but his talent and passion lies within film directing, a talent which he has developed since 1996 where he -together with Anders Thomas Jensen- co-directed the short film "Ernst and the Light", which was nominated for an Academy Award.

Tomas Villum Jensen has since then had great commercial success in the family film genre with titles such as "Love at First Hiccough" (1999) and "My Sister's Kids" (2001). Tomas Villum Jensen broke through as a more mature director with the hugely popular films "The Sun King (2005)" and "Clash of Egos" (2006) both written by Anders Thomas Jensen.
