Biography (2)
Born 1961 in Melle, France. He began his filmmaking career at the L'Institut des hautes études cinématographiques in Paris and made his feature film debut in 1997. His second feature film saw Cantet win a César Award. In 2008, ENTRE LES MURS was awarded the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival.
