Biography
Stanley Kwan (1957, Hong Kong) began his career as actor and producer at the TVB television station. He debuted as a director with Women (1985). Women, their social status as well as their emotional experience have since become a revolving and pivotal focus of his motion pictures. Films Centre Stage (1992), Red Rose White Rose (1994), or Everlasting Regret (2005) are but a few typical examples.
