Biography
Francisco Varone was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and graduated from the Universidad del Cine. He started his career in advertising, working also in São Paulo, Mexico City and Los Angeles among others. A Clio Award-winner, Varone also teaches at Argentina's National School of Cinematography and Visual Arts. Road to La Paz is his feature debut.
