Biography

He studied Film Directing at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires and directed three short films: Enterprisse (2010), Juku (2012, premiered at Sundance and winner of the Grand Prix at IndieLisboa) and Nueva vida (2015, premiered at Locarno). His first feature film, Viejo calavera (2016), was part of the International Competition at Bafici ‘17 and won the Special Jury Award; one of the 23 awards it collected in its journey through more than 80 international festivals. Together with Carlos Piñeiro, Miguel Hilari and Pablo Paniagua, he is a member of the audiovisual production company Socavón Cine, which aims to produce, film and redefine Bolivian national cinema. El gran movimiento is his second feature film.
