Biography

After studying drama and pursuing a brief acting career, he founded, together with writer and farmer Pierre Rabhi, the Colibris movement, an environmentalist association that struggles for energy transition and the protection of the environment. In 2015 he co-directed with actress Mélanie Laurent the documentary Demain, which identifies several ecological practices to address environmental challenges,and won the César award for Best Documentary Film. In 2017, he published his first novel, ‘Imago’, in which he reviews the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and a year later ‘Petit manuel de résistance contemporaine’, where he takes up his fight against global warming and in favour of the preservation of biodiversity. Animal, his feature film, was part of the Official Selection at the Cannes Festival.
