Biography
Born 1963 in Berlin, GDR. He worked as a child actor in several TV and theater productions. In 1989, he graduated in directing from the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf". His short and feature films received several awards at film festivals. In 1998, was awarded the Grimme-Preis.
