Magnus Martens

Magnus Martens was educated at London Film School (1993-1996), then Magnus has been working with comedy every since. He is one of the most established commercial directors in Norway. Besides a career in commercials, he has worked as a director and writer for television just as long, making him one of the top comedy writers/directors working in Norway today.

As a writer/director, he has developed a unique sense of comedic sensibility – resulting in a clear and definite style and voice. His short films, and feature-debut United (2003) did very well both at the Norwegian box-office and international festivals.
