Jemima Rooper

Jemima Rooper is a compelling actress with a vast array of experience across film, TV and theatre. Appearing in productions from an early age, her film work includes roles in Brian De Palma's BLACK DAHLIA and Julian Jarrold's KINKY BOOTS and as Daniel Radcliffe's sister in THE F WORD.

She is well known for her diverse television performances, which include lead roles in 'Lost in Austen', 'Bouquet of Barbed Wire', 'Sinchronicity', two series of 'Hex', 'Sugar Rush', four series of 'As If' and 'Love in a Cold Climate' directed by Tom Hooper. Her first TV role was as George in the adaptation of well-loved Enid Blyton's book series 'The Famous Five'.

Jemima also has a strong repertoire of theatre experience having starred alongside James Corden in the award winning 'One Man, Two Guvnors' both at the National Theatre and on Broadway and also previously alongside him again in 'A Respectable Wedding' at the Young Vic. In addition, she was critically acclaimed for her turn in 'Me And My Girl' opposite Miriam Margolyes at the Sheffield Crucible and has also starred in the West End for the lauded 'All My Sons', the National Theatre's production of David Hare's 'The Power Of Yes', played the co-lead in 'Her Naked Skin' also at the National Theatre and appeared in the Tricycle Theatre's successful cycle of plays: 'The Great Game: Afghanistan'.
