Biography
Born in Hiroshima in 1958, he has worked as a photographer and video artist and been highly successful in the music video field. With Samurai Fiction (1998), his first feature film, he attained international recognition. He is also the director of several short films and the features Stereo Future (2001) and Red Shadow (2001).
