Biography

Félix Viscarret debuted in feature-film directing with the comedy-drama Bajo las estrellas (Under the Stars), which drew unanimous critical and audience acclaim and enjoyed a cinema run of more than four months. The film received two Goya awards from a total of seven nominations and won the Málaga Festival. Previously, Viscarret had directed the short films Soñadores, Canciones de invierno and El álbum blanco, awarded prizes at festivals worldwide. He has also directed numerous television series and gives annual masterclasses on filmmaking at North American universities.
