Biography

Tom E. Brown’s films have screened at over 100 festivals around the world— including Sundance. They’ve earned several awards—including a Golden Spire from the San Francisco International Film Festival. Tom’s films have been featured at the American Museum of Natural History, the Walker Art Center, and the Guggenheim. His work has been televised nationally and internationally, airing on PBS, Bravo, TLC, and The Independent Film Channel. Brown attended the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriters and Directors Labs to workshop his feature project Pushing Dead. He was the recipient of a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship for the same project and was named one of the 25 New Faces of Indie Film by Filmmaker Magazine.
