Biography (1)
He studied Audiovisual Communication and Film at the Offenbach University of Art and Design and at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Winckler is one of the exponents of the so-called Berlin School thanks to works such as Klassenfahrt (2001), premiered at the Berlinale and then screened at Karlovy Vary, Entrevues Belfort and Bafici, and Lucy (2006), which was exhibited at the Berlinale, Thessaloniki and Göteborg, among others.
