Biography
Born in Nuremburg, director Sophie Linnenbaum studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Her short films, including the multi award-winning [Out of Fra]me (2016) and the German Short Film Award-winning Pix (2017), have screened at numerous festivals. She more recently hit the festival circuit with her latest documentary film Väter unser (2021), which won the DOKFest München's FFF Talent Award Documentary Film. She completed her degree with The Ordinaries, her debut feature-length fiction film, which had its world premiere at Filmfest München.
