For over ten years Takuya Kimura has been one of the biggest idols of Japan. He is a member of pop band SMAP and many of the TV dramas he starred in broke ratings records. His film, Love and Honor, directed by Yoji Yamada, was a historical hits in Japan and earned him a Japan Academy Prize nomination for Best Actor. His film, 'Hero' by Masayuki Suzuki, earned more than 30 Million dollars during its first ten days of release.
