Biography
João Dumans is a screenwriter, director, and critic. His scripting debut Where I Grow Old (A Cidade onde Envelheço) competed at the Rotterdam IFF in 2016, and he earned screenwriting and editing credits on The Hidden Tiger (2014). He has curated and organized film exhibitions in Brazil and abroad (Constructing Views: Experimental Film and Video in Brazil – New Museum, NYC). He writes for journals, incl. Cinética and La Furia Umana.
