Biography
Affonso Uchôa is a director, screenwriter, and festival curator. His debut Afternoon Woman (Mulher à tarde, 2010) received much attention. His second picture The Hidden Tiger (A Vizinhança do Tigre, 2014) won Best Film at Mostra de Tiradentes and received international recognition. Since 2009 Uchôa has participated in the selection of movies for festivals such as the International Short Film Festival of Belo Horizonte and Forum.doc.
