Biography
After college at Harvard and law school at Berkeley, Banks worked as a civil rights attorney in his home state of Texas. His first documentary, Watch Me Jumpstart, was about his favorite rock band, Guided By Voices. In 2004, he co-founded Left/Right, which has produced an eclectic mix of television series and documentaries, including This American Life, The Circus, and Small Town Security.
