Biography
Pernille Fischer Christensen (Born December 1969) graduated as a director from the National Film School of Denmark in 1999. Fischer Christensen's debut feature film A SOAP (2006) had its world premier at The Berlin Film Festival in 2006 where it was awarded a Silver Bear - the Jury Grand Prix and the Best Debut Film Award. Among several other awards A SOAP won the Danish Film Critics Award (Bodil) for Best Film in 2007. Her second feature, the critically acclaimed DANCERS, premiered in 2008.
