Biography

Arash T. Riahi (b. 1972, Iran) is a screenwriter, director and producer. He studied film and art and is currently working and living in Vienna. He cooperates, among others, with the Austrian TV and radio company ORF. In 1998 he founded Golden Girls Filmproduktion. He is the author of many successful and award-winning documentaries, short and experimental films: The Souvenirs of Mr. X, Exile Family Movie, Mississippi and For a Moment, Freedom. His latest film That’s bothering me the whole time was the Austrian nominee for best foreign film at the 2010 Academy Awards.
