Biography

Patricia Amelia Arriaga Jordán studied Communications at the Universidad Americana, and obtained a Ph.D. in Economics in New York. She began her career in television with Sesame Street and in 1992, joined Channel Eleven (Canal Once) as an Art Director. In 1995 she created and produced the successful children’s programming segment Once Niños. She created and produced the television series: Bizbirije, Mi gran amigo, Camino a casa I, El divan de Valentina, Rock en contacto and DeC. Her productions have obtained more than 45 national and international awards, among them, the Youth Television International Award (Premio Internacional de Televisión para la Juventud), given by the European Council, the European Community and UNESCO.
