Biography
He earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley in 1978 before obtaining a PhD in Political Science from MIT in 1989. For some time he remained a regular consultant to the White House and the US Department of Defense. Between 1992 and 1999 he became an independent consultant for companies like Apple, Xerox, Motorola or Intel. In mid-2005 he founded Representational Pictures, a production company with which he made his first documentary feature No End in Sight, which premiered at Sundance in 2007. In 2010 his second film, Inside Job, screened in Valladolid’s Time of History section before winning an Oscar, and in 2015 he directed Time to Choose.
