Biography
Luis Rincón studied Communications at the UIA, where he directed El hombre que mató a dos ladrones con un pollo, his first 35 mm fiction short film. He began his career working in documentaries as assistant to several directors and photographers in the films Hombres de carbón and De selva a selva, and in the series Jaaj T’aan. Afterwards, he directed his first documentary during the DOCSDF Film Festival which served as inspiration for El árbol olvidado.
