Biography

She is one of the most influential cinematographers in the Mexican film industry. She studied Film Direction and Cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, C.C.C. She is a member of the AMC (Mexican Association of Cinematographers) and of Apertura. With over two decades of experience, her work has been featured in several festivals such as the prestigious International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage in Poland. She received the Ariel award for Best Cinematography for Noche de Fuego (2022) and has been nominated in the same category for Los Adioses (2018) and Las Niñas Bien (2019). She also directed the documentary Un día menos (2009) and the film Esa era Dania (2016).
