Chris Diamantopoulos, who split his childhood between Canada and Greece (Greek is his first language), began appearing in Canadian TV commercials at age nine. He attended East York Collegiate Institute in Toronto, playing the lead in several school musicals, such as "Anything Goes" and "Man of LaMancha," among others.
