She took her degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Pompeu Fabra University. In 2005, she received a scholarship to study at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. There she directed her first film, Manuscrito a la ciudad, and started her professional career as a film editor. Since then, she has edited eight feature films which have been screened at international festivals. She directed her first fiction feature film in 2018. Con el viento was selected by the Atelier of the Cinéfondation in Cannes and was premiered at the 68th Berlinale Film Festival. It received the award “Biznaga de Plata” for the best Zonazine film at the Malaga Film Festival and has been screened at around forty festivals. Since 2007 she has combined filmmaking with film pedagogy. She is part of the ‘Cine en curso’ team, a project by the association ‘A Bao A Qu’. She was president of the jury in the “Horizontes Latinos” section of the 67th San Sebastian International Film Festival.
