Biography
At age 15, he travels to Mexico City determined to become an actor however, young René decides to move to New York City, reaching for his dream of eventually joining the Actors Studio. In 1985 René returns to Mexico and founds his school/workshop, Actores del Metodo. In 1998, Pereyra joins the faculty of UCLA. In 2013-14 he makes his debut as film director with the feature film, El Arribo de Conrado Sierra.
