Biography
Valentin Riedl is a physician and neuroscientist. In videos of brain scans he searches for patterns of neuronal activity. Otherwise, he uses images to assemble them into narrative film. For his endeavour to merge abstract science with the artistic form of film, Valentin won the 2016 Young Talent Award of the Cultural-Sparkassen-Foundation by suggestion of Wim Wenders.
