Harmony Korine (1973) is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor. Having briefly studied English at New York University, he established himself with his screenwriting talent. As a director he first made the experimental feature drama Gummo (1997), followed by the similarly experimental Julien Donkey-Boy (1999). Korine's film Mister Lonely (2007) was a hit at prominent festivals. From among his other films we'll mention the drama Trash Humpers (2009).
