She studied Audiovisual Communication and English Studies in the Basque Country. She moved to Madrid and graduated in Film Directing from ECAM in 2005. Her final project before graduating, Clases particulares -Private Lessons-, debuted successfully in the short films sector, winning more than 30 awards. She has combined her advertising career with her short films, which have been selected in more than 400 national and international festivals and have won over 100 awards. In 2022, Cinco lobitos -Lullaby-, her debut feature film as both a screenwriter and a director, was selected for the Berlinale´s Panorama section.
