Biography
Marco van Geffen (1959) started writing screenplays after his study at the audiovisual department of the Art School in Arnhem. Apart from the Dutch box office hit The Schnitzelparadise, he has written several feature screenplays, before becoming a full time director. He directed several shorts, of which My Sister (2006) was nominated for the Golden Palm at the 2007 Cannes film festival. His feature debut Among Us, the first part of a trilogy, called the Vinex Trilogy, earned two awards at the Locarno Film Festival.
